We feed the Talapia fish, the fish feed the Lo’i (the field where the taro grows) and the taro cleans the water as it passes through. Testing has shown the water returning to the stream is clear and clean. Some of our fish are more than 8 years old. We do not use them for food but rather to feed the soil and the ecosystem. Talapia are used for food in many areas of the world and are a local market product.
